Website maintenance

Website maintenance for Las Vegas businesses

Most websites do not fail dramatically. They go stale: plugins stop updating, the SSL lapses, last year’s prices are still up, and nobody notices until a customer mentions it.

Being local matters less here — and we will say so

  • This work is remote by nature

Updates, backups, security patches and content changes all happen over the wire. Nobody needs to drive anywhere. If a company is selling you local maintenance on the basis of proximity, they are selling you something that does not exist.

  • What local does buy you is accountability

We have a reputation in the same city you do. That is worth more than being nearby geographically — and it is a genuinely different thing from an offshore maintenance plan bought through a marketplace.

  • And a timezone that matches yours

When something breaks at 9am Pacific, it is 9am for us too. That is a smaller claim than "local" usually implies, and it is the true one.

  • The real question is what is actually covered

Most hosting is not maintenance. A host keeps the server up; it does not update your plugins, fix a broken form, change your hours or notice that your contact page has been throwing an error for a month. The distinction is where most of the money is wasted in this category.

What the work covers

The short version. For the full detail of how this service runs, see everything included in the plan— that page is the service itself; this one is the valley.

  • Fast hosting with SSL, included
  • Daily backups kept off-site
  • Security and malware monitoring
  • CMS, theme and plugin updates
  • Update compatibility checks before they go live
  • Unlimited content changes
  • Domain, DNS and business email administration
  • Page speed and Core Web Vitals monitoring

Maintenance does not produce case studies

The measure of this working is that nothing happened — no outage worth writing up, no compromise, no month where the site said last year’s prices. So instead of a success story, here is the offering itself: a published price, an itemized list of what is in it, and the live client sites we keep running.

  • Published, itemized

    What $250 a month covers

Over a hundred line items across security, backups, content maintenance, performance and domain administration — written out in full rather than summarised as "maintenance". If something is not on that list, it is not in the plan.

  • Live client sites

    Sites we keep running

Five real client sites, all live and open to inspection. They are the ongoing work rather than a launch screenshot — every one of them has been maintained since it shipped.

Website maintenance in Las Vegas — common questions

How much is website maintenance in Las Vegas?

$250 a month covers hosting, SSL, daily backups, security monitoring, software updates and unlimited content changes. One bill — there is no separate hosting company to deal with.

$599 a month adds the local SEO work on top. Month to month, no minimum term. Detail on the pricing page.

What counts as an unlimited content change?

Text edits, image swaps, prices, hours, staff, promotions, adding or removing a service, swapping a form. No per-change fee and no hourly minimum.

A full redesign or genuinely new functionality is a separate project — see website redesign. The line is whether we are maintaining the site or building something that was not there before.

Do you maintain sites you did not build?

Often, yes. Send us the link and we will tell you honestly whether it is in a state worth maintaining — some sites are far enough gone that patching them costs more over two years than replacing them.

That is a real answer, not a sales one. We have told people their site was fine and to come back when it was not.

What if my site goes down?

Monitoring catches most problems before a customer does, and backups mean a bad update is a restore rather than a rebuild. You email us; you are not opening a ticket with a hosting company that will tell you it is a plugin problem.

Can I cancel?

Month to month, no minimum term, cancel whenever you like and you will not be billed again.
